Mike O'Brien, Chair (Avon)

Mike O'Brien was elected chairman of the Hendricks County Republican Party in March 2009. Prior to his serving as chairman, Mike led party get out the vote efforts in 2006 and 2008 and has served as an elected precinct committeeman for several years. When he's not planning Lincoln Day Dinners and running phone banks, Mike serves as a Senior Public Affairs Consultant for the Bose Public Affairs Group. He's a veteran of political campaigns and is the Republican blogger on the RTV 6 Capitol WatchBlog. Mike relocated to Hendricks County in 2003 when his wife, Sarah, accepted a job at White Oak elementary school. They reside in Avon with their two young children.

Nancy Bennett, Vice (Plainfield)

Nancy was elected to a second term as vice chair of the Hendricks County Republican Party in March 2009. She has served the party for a number of years as a committeewoman from Guilford Township, is active with the Federation of Republican Women, and has served on many campaigns. Nancy is retired educator from Plainfield, where she resides with her husband Al. She's the mother of four grown children and has ten wonderful grandchildren.

Erin Engels, Secretary (Pittsboro)

Erin was elected Secretary of the Hendricks County Republican Party in March 2009. She has served several capacities in the party including as precinct committeeman, member of the Hendricks County Get Out the Vote committee, and the Young Republicans. Erin is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, and got her BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois. She has practiced law in Pittsboro for the past eight years. She is also a lecturer for the IUPUI Political Science Department, assistant director of the paralegal program, and advisor for paralegal and pre-law students. She and her husband, Kevin, reside in Pittsboro with their three children. They are members of the Connection Pointe Christian Church in Brownsburg.

Randy Effner, Treasurer (Plainfield)

Randy was elected to a second term as treasurer for the Hendricks County Republican Party in March 2009. He has been involved in the party for a number of years as a precinct committeeman. Randy is a Certified Public Accountant from Plainfield.
